This course is aimed at teachers who would like to foster a deeper appreciation and understanding of the 5 strands of the Visual Arts curriculum, while cultivating their own inner artist. Packed full of inspiring ideas, we offer a wealth of sample lessons and techniques to awaken and nurture the budding artist.
Module 1: The outcome is to explore the skills and concepts that are developed through the medium of ‘Drawing’. Participants will be given the opportunity to explore, create and reflect on their teaching skills.
Module 2: The learning outcome is to acquire an understanding of the skills and concepts that developed within the medium of ‘Painting’.
Module 3: The objective of this module is to discuss the SSE process and reflect on the concepts that are potentially developed through the medium of ‘Printing’.
Module 4:
The outcome is to develop an understanding of the skills that are potentially developed within the medium of ‘Clay & Construction’.
Module 5: The specific learning outcome is to foster an appreciation of the skills and concepts that are developed through exploring and creating with the medium of ‘Fabric & Fibre’.
